This article walks you through each section of the HOSTDOG client area so you know exactly where to find what you need — whether that is checking your hosting status, paying a bill, or opening a support ticket.
How to access the client area
Navigate to the HOSTDOG homepage and click the Log in button in the top right corner of the page. Enter the email address and password you used when you created your HOSTDOG account.
Once logged in, you land on the Dashboard — a snapshot of your account showing active services, recent invoices, and any open support tickets.
Dashboard overview
The dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It gives you a quick overview of:
- Active services — your hosting plans, their status, and renewal dates
- Recent invoices — unpaid or recently paid invoices with direct payment links
- Open tickets — any support requests awaiting a response
- Quick shortcuts — links to common actions like ordering a new service or registering a domain
Services
The Services section lists every hosting plan, VPS, or dedicated server linked to your account. For each service you can:
- View the current status (Active, Pending, Suspended)
- See the next renewal date and billing cycle
- Access your hosting control panel with a single click
- Request upgrades, downgrades, or cancellations
Click on any service to see its full details, including the server hostname, IP address, and nameservers assigned to your account.
Domains
The Domains section is where you manage all domain names registered through HOSTDOG. From here you can:
- Register a new domain name from 750+ available TLDs
- Transfer an existing domain to HOSTDOG
- Update nameservers and DNS records
- Enable or disable domain auto-renewal
- View WHOIS information and manage contact details
HOSTDOG is an EETT-accredited .gr domain registrar, so you can register and manage Greek domain names directly from this panel.
Billing and invoices
Under Billing, you will find a complete history of your invoices and transactions. Key actions include:
- Viewing and paying open invoices
- Downloading PDF copies of past invoices
- Adding or updating payment methods (PayPal, credit/debit card, bank transfer)
- Adding funds to your account credit balance
Support
HOSTDOG provides 24/7 support via the ticket system. The Support section lets you:
- Open a new support ticket
- View the status and replies on existing tickets
- Browse the knowledge base for self-service answers
- Check server status announcements
When opening a ticket, choose the department that best matches your issue (e.g. Technical Support, Billing, Sales) to ensure it reaches the right team immediately.
Account settings
The account settings area is where you manage your personal and security details:
- Personal information — update your name, email, phone, and address
- Password — change your client area password
- Security — enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional protection
- Email preferences — control which notifications you receive
