You may just close the media gallery widow after you have added the desired images to it.<br />You may want to fill the fields "Title" (shows as Caption), "Descreption" (shows next to title as Caption) and "Custom Link" (creates a link to the Caption).<br />Then you may save the post/page.<br />Next step is to add the widget "Post/Page Slideshow" to your available sidebar and fill its field.</p><p><strong>Available options</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Title</strong> (widget title)</li><li><strong>Page/Post ID</strong> (the post/page ID)</li><li><strong>Delay until next slide</strong> (How long will it take for the next image to show)</li><li><strong>Height of your slideshow</strong> (slideshow height)</li><li><strong>Show or not navigation bullets</strong></li><li><strong>Show or not navigation arrows</strong></li><li><strong>Show or not the caption</strong></li><li><strong>Bullets Position</strong></li><li><strong>Caption Position</strong></li><li><strong>Exclude Images by ID</strong></li></ul><p><strong>How it works</strong></p><p>At first the plugin loads only the first image. Then it reads fro a seperate div the links to the rest of the images that it created. The benefits are a fast loading webpage and search engine indexed image of the slideshow.</p><p>The code is <a href="http://validator.w3.org/" target="_blank" title="w3c validator">W3C</a> valid.</p><p>It has been tested under <a href="http://www.wordpress.org" target="_blank" title="Wordpress">Wordpress</a> v.3.5 but it should be ok for all v3.x.</p><p>For new features please post at the plugin forum at Wordpress.org</p><p><a href="http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-seo-slideshow/" target="_blank" title="Simple SEO Slideshow Plugin for Wordpress">Download Simple SEO Slideshow for Wordpress</a></p></div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-screenshots field-type-image field-label-above"><div class="field-label">Screenshots:&nbsp;</div><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><img src="https://www.hostdog.eu/sites/default/files/screenshot-2.png" width="680" height="225" alt="Simple SEO Slideshow editor plugin for wordpress" title="Simple SEO Slideshow editor plugin for wordpress" /></div></div></div><div class="field field-name-field-tags field-type-taxonomy-term-reference field-label-above clearfix"><h3 class="field-label">Tags: </h3><ul class="links"><li class="taxonomy-term-reference-0"><a href="https://www.hostdog.eu/taxonomy/term/3">WordPress</a></li><li class="taxonomy-term-reference-1"><a href="https://www.hostdog.eu/tags/wordpress-plugin">wordpress plugin</a></li><li class="taxonomy-term-reference-2"><a href="https://www.hostdog.eu/tags/wordpress-slideshow">wordpress slideshow</a></li><li class="taxonomy-term-reference-3"><a href="https://www.hostdog.eu/tags/wordpress-slideshow-widget">wordpress slideshow widget</a></li></ul></div> Tue, 14 Aug 2012 03:17:46 +0000 hostdog 86 at https://www.hostdog.eu Simple SEO Categories Posts widget - Wordpress https://www.hostdog.eu/blog/simple-seo-categories-posts-widget-wordpress <div class="field field-name-field-image field-type-image field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><img src="https://www.hostdog.eu/sites/default/files/styles/basic_680/public/field/image/sscp_screen.png?itok=G6obG560" width="256" height="815" alt="Simple SEO Categories Posts widget Screenshot" title="Simple SEO Categories Posts widget Screenshot" /></div></div></div><div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even"><p>Simple SEO Categories Posts is a <a href="http://www.wordpress.org" target="_blank" title="Wordpress">Wordpress</a> widget developed by <a href="http://www.hostdog.eu/" title="hostdog web hosting in Europe">Hostdog</a>, where you can choose the posts you want to display on your site from specified categories.</p><h3>What the provided options are (and mini guide)</h3><ul><li><strong>Title</strong>: Here you can set the title of the widget</li><li><strong>Categories IDs:</strong> Pick any categories you would like.
